A true vintage watch by Rolex. This Rolex Oster Viceroy is dated as from 1946. The unique stepped Tonneau case is not typical to the brand but is both elegant but still very practical as a typical Oyster of the era. The manual wind movement is running fine and ready to wear. The case is a diminutive 29mm but the case shape gives it a presence and is very wearable as a period timepiece. Gold bezel and crown, original silvered dial with even patina consistent with wear from a tropical country as the name suggests. Brown Rolex signed strap and gold-plated Rolex buckle. A great time to buy as the value of these smaller classics are well below their status.
