A world war 2 (circa 1943) era Jaeger Le Coultre in the military style watch. The look and specification is very much what the military required in that the numerals and hands are fully luminous ,easy to read with the most reliable(CAL P478) manual wind movement. The likelihood is that a watch like this was bought privately and used in service as one of the best watches on the market at the time.
The dial on this watch is silvered with a wonderful even patina so prized by collectors, faded lume on the numerals as expected with sword hands. The 34 mm case is un polished and all the edges remain very Sharpe. We have fitted a canvas style strap to add to the military style but as the watch uses spring bars you can easily individualise the look by fitting any strap to your taste.
