Panerai Luminor Marina 'FU' 福 Limited Edition PAM00366
Launched in 2005, this Limited Edition Panerai Luminor Marina is an incredible piece released exclusively in China to celebrate 5 years on the Chinese market. A smaller, modest size of 44mm, this version of the legendary Luminor features a notable characteristic- the '福', or 'FU', character at 6 o'clock is a Chinese symbol for fortune or good luck. While featured prominently on the dial, the character isn't the only intriguing quality on this Luminor's dial. Its Luminova on the hands and hour markers boasts an aged, vintage effect.
Incredibly difficult to source, this 1 of 1500 timepiece is an important piece of Panerai's history- widely revered by fans of brand. Super collectable and in unworn condition (with stickers remaining on the caseback), this full set Luminor is truly something special. This example, sold in Panerai's Shanghai boutique, comes with all original packaging, booklets, papers and guarantee dated 17/09/2011.
